Applications now closed

Applications to be a location in The Femdom Hunt VII are now closed. Before the end of the week we'll be sending an update pack to all contacts given for all locations in the hunt. This will contain an updated copy of the hunt board. This differs from the v1.0 board in that it contains information about the hunt for potential hunters (the current boards contain information for potential hunt locations). It also has a copy of the shoe attached so people will know what they'll be looking for once the hunt is under way.

Please note: Your actual shoe, the one you'll hide your gift in, will follow next week. We'll be sending out more details of what'll happen over the next couple of weeks in a day or so.

Please don't forget that the first walk-through takes place at some point this Thursday or Friday (depending on how RL goes). This is simply so we can check that your SLURL is still correct, that you still exist and that you have a sign on display.

We'd really like to thank everyone who has helped get the word out about the hunt -- if you've blogged about the hunt already do please let us know. We'd especially like to thank everyone who has applied to be in the hunt; without your support this wouldn't be the fun event it always is.

As always, if you have any questions about the hunt, please do drop a line to Antony Fairport or AnnaCreed Resident and we'll do everything we can to help.

Announcing... The Femdom Hunt VII

Z&A Productions are excited and delighted to announce that the dates for The Femdom Hunt VII have been decided and that applications are now open.

The hunt will run from October 13th until October 30th 2017, inclusive. As with the previous six hunts we'll be taking applications from a mixture of vendors and Femdom regions and hangouts, making the hunt a journey through the wider Second Life Femdom community.

Applications are now open. Please note that applications are made online and that vendors and Femdoms have separate forms. If you have any issues or problems filling out your application please don't hesitate to contact Antony Fairport or AnnaCreed Resident.

We will start processing applications (sending out welcome packs, etc) early next week at the latest and, once processing has started, an application will probably be processed within 24 hours -- a little longer at weekends. If, once the processing of applications has started, you make an application and don't hear from us within 48 hours, please do make a point of getting in contact with Antony.

And, as always, if you have any questions about the hunt, any at all, just get in contact with us and we'll do our very best to help out.

PS: If you are fairly new to hunts, either as a location owner, or as a hunter, we'd like to recommend a read of this post from Evelock. There's some great advice in there.

About The Femdom Hunt

The Femdom Hunt VII is a grid-wide treasure hunt created by and organised by Z&A Productions. It was first thought of around September 2010 and six hunts have taken place since (in April 2011October 2011October 2012October 2013October 2014 and October 2015).

The idea behind the hunt is to interweave a traditional grid-wide hunt (one that includes shops of all types (fashion, household, fetish, RLV toys, etc...)) with a hunt that links together and showcases many of the Femdom sims and locations to be found in Second Life. To this end the Femdoms who are supporting the hunt are spaced evenly throughout the location list, and the hunt itself is designed as a circular hunt. The last location in the hunt points to the first and we encourage everyone to treat any Femdom region (or indeed any location on the hunt) as their starting location.

The hunt starts at midnight on October 13th (the midnight between the 12th and the 13th, Second Life time) and runs until the end of October 30th (Second Life time).

There is a group for the hunt:

The group will be used to keep people informed of hunt-related news and everyone will be encouraged to use group chat to support and help each other -- and possibly have some Femdom-related fun along the way.

The Femdom Hunt 2016: An Update

Z&A Productions first conceived of The Femdom Hunt back in 2011 and since then, with the help of the wider femdom community on the Second Life grid, we've had six very successful and highly-enjoyable hunts spanning five years. Starting with the second hunt, the hunt has always been announced on August 1st. Because of this I wanted to write a little post for anyone expecting one today.

For this year at least, The Femdom Hunt is taking a little holiday.

The hunt is very important to me and I proudly take a lot of care over creating a framework in which femdom owners and store owners can come together and make it the brilliant event it is. This year I’m unlikely to be in a position to devote the time and attention that I think the hunt deserves — as the organiser, and as a femdom location owner and vendor. The reasons for this are personal but very positive. Rest assured that RL is going to be wonderfully busy for me and will demand much of my attention.

I do want to stress: this is not an announcement to say that TFH will never happen again, far from it. It’s just a note to let everyone know that it’s taking 2016 off and will, all being well, return at some point in the not-too-distant future.

I’d also again like to thank everyone — location owners and hunters — who have ever taken part and made the hunt the event it is, with the good name it has, and with the expectation of fun that it has created. If you were making plans for taking part this year, in any way, please accept my deepest apologies.

TFHVI: Thank you

Another very successful Femdom Hunt is over and so, for the sixth time, I wanted to write a short note of thanks. As I say each time, and I feel it's important to say each time, there would be no hunt without everyone involved. The hunt only happens thanks to the vendors and Femdoms that are involved; and the Femdom hunt is a Femdom hunt thanks to the involvement of the many and varied Femdom regions and locations that exist in Second Life.

Also, there's no hunt without the hunters. In combination with the vendors and Femdom locations you've made the in-world group, and the business of organising the hunt, so much fun. I can't thank you enough.

I'd especially like to thank Anna Creed, Eve Terr and Reven Rosca for being invaluable sets of eyes and ears, keeping an eye on things when I've not been in-world (or have been in-world but dealing with something else). The same thanks goes to everyone else who has alerted me to any issues that have cropped up. Your help and support in that way makes everything run smoother.

Extra thanks go to Anna for being there through the whole process of this year's hunt organisation, offering help and encouragement just when it was needed. I'm not sure I could have done it without her.

As for what happens now: over the next few days I'll be tidying up the blog and hiding the pages that aren't needed any longer. I will leave the location list in place should you want to go back and find a particular location. I do encourage staying with the group, especially if you're a vendor, as that will be the first place that any future Femdom Hunt will be announced, if and when dates are decided.

And... that's it. For this year, at least.

TFHVI: Closing dance photos and videos

Although there was still well over a day left to go (and still around 16 hours left as of the time of writing) in The Femdom Hunt VI, yesterday afternoon we gathered in the Raven Park Ballroom to celebrate the (almost) end of the hunt. Gifts were on show, gifts were worn, dances were danced, music was played. And, of course, photos and videos (you'll find the videos at the end of this post) were taken. You can find all the photos over in an album on imgur. Here are some highlights:

As well as plenty of photos, here's some video too:

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it fun, and many thanks to Miss Eve for providing great music. That's it for another year of Femdom Hunt dances; in two weeks time we'll be returning back to the normal Raven Park dances.

Save the Date: The Femdom Hunt VI Closing Dance

As with the weekend of the start of The Femdom Hunt VI things coincide with the usual fortnightly Raven Park dance. So, once again, we're making it a Femdom Hunt dance. This time to celebrate the (almost) end of the hunt.

And the theme? Just like the last couple of year it's:

I finished the Femdom Hunt!
(or not, but I'm close, or hope to)

The idea being that people come along wearing outfits, or restraints, etc, from or inspired by this (or previous) Femdom Hunts. Everyone is welcome. Dress up, dress silly, dress totally fetish, whatever takes your fancy, and come and swap your Femdom Hunt hunting and unboxing stories. As always there'll be a fun mix of tunes from Eve Terr.

Here's the details:

Date: Saturday October 31st
Time: 3pm to 5pm SLT
Where: Raven Park
Music by: Eve Terr

TFHVI: Opening dance photos and videos

Yesterday afternoon was the opening dance for The Femdom Hunt VI. We gathered in the ballroom of the Raven Park Mansion and enjoyed a couple of hours of fun and music. Photos and videos were taken during the event. Here's a few highlights (with the videos at the bottom, the whole album of photos can be found over on imgur):

We'd like to thank everyone who came along and made it a fun event -- it was a lovely break from the work of getting the hunt under way. We'd also especially like to thank Miss Eve for putting on a great musical set.

We'll be using the next Raven Park dance, in two weeks time, to mark the (almost) end of the hunt. Like the last couple of times the theme will be "stuff I've got on the hunt". Hopefully we'll see you then!
